Message From the DACM

We’re excited to announce the FY2024 Leadership and Talent Management (L&TM) Portfolio. This year we are re-introducing a web-based catalog that will allow easy access to programs suited to your development needs. Within the interactive pages you will find specific details regarding each program, such as course descriptions, target audience, course length and objectives. Individuals must comply with their internal agency policies regarding voluntary training and all L&TM participants are held to the policies prescribed within this portfolio. 

Program offerings within our portfolio are specifically designated for early, intermediate, and senior leaders. Each program description denotes which level of leadership the course is developed for. All programs will be conducted virtually and are offered through self-registration. 

With self-registration, all courses must be registered through Defense Acquisition Talent Management System (DATMS), which will require supervisor approval. The approval process mirrors each Agency’s DAU event workflow, generally: Employee > Supervisor > DATMS Event Manager. Step-by-step instructions are outlined in the “Requirements & Policies” section of this catalog. Individuals are urged to coordinate with their supervisors to ensure timely approval of applications. Courses are filled on a first-come/first-served basis once the applicant’s grade is validated as a match for the class offering. 

All L&TM programs are centrally funded by the 4th Estate DACM, subject to the availability of FY2024 and out-year funds.
